Congratulations to your son. That looks like a fine deer. At 200 pounds, that ought to put a little meat in the freezer.

Nice Buck, Congrats to him. H&R ultra slugger 20ga is one of the most accurate slug guns out there for less the half the money.

    NICE deer!

    Tell him congrats for me.

We just had tenderloin shish-ka-bobs for the last couple nights from my son's deer. WOW! were they good. Just skewer with green pepper and onion, sprinkle on some seasoned salt and black pepper and toss on a charcoal grill.

Even my wife likes 'em and I could never get her to eat venison before I cooked 'em like that.

We also have 2 kinds of jerky getting ready and I dropped off 14 lbs of trimming to have made into pepper sticks at the local sausage maker.

Thats about all we'll get because when we skinned my sons deer, it had some old wounds from being hit by a car (I think) and I had to toss out one front shoulder and one rear quarter (to be safe).

You folks enjoy! It is a great time of year to be doing stuff with your kids. These are things those kids will never forget.

Beautiful deer. I have been hunting for 22 years and have only seen a deer that big once. He did really good as did you.

Congratulations! Now you need to start researching some good vension recipes. If you like leeks, shallots and kalamata olives, I have a great one for you.
