All that raceing history and not one mention of Chris Carr. He was Scott Parker's team mate and has won a number of championships himself!

I grew up right down the street from Chris and went to watch him race as a kid all the time. I remember him raceing a little Indian 50.

He also got dubbed the Prince of Peoria as he was almost un touchable on that track. It was a scrambles track that was a larger scale of Chris' home track of Lodi Cycle Bowl.

I am real surprised there was no mention of him in those facts.

All that info, and not a single comment about how unreliable they were, and what a pain in the ass to keep running.

Oh, yeah - they also leaked oil like a sieve.

No mention of these either. They were sold to various militaries around the world, if I remember right they were built in teh late 80s.

Chris Carr. I watched him win at Du Quoin in one of the best races I've ever seen. He's been mentioned now.[8D]

I can tell you many stories about Chris from childhood days.

His parents (as of a couple years ago when I moved from California) still live in the same house that he grew up in. They still have all his motorcycles that he raced as a kid, and the whole house is full of trophies (one bedroom is jammed full of them to where you can't get anything else in it). One of the first trophy's he won was taller than he was at the time.

His mom is a school teacher and his dad owned a tv repair shop. They both are still active with the Lodi Cycle Bowl raceing. And from time to time Chris still makes an apperence there.

He has won the AMA championship 7 times himself.
