Where is the backbone off our officals

I'll probably send this article out to everyone eventually but it gives me ideas on attention "getters" etc. Hells bells lets just sit up shop in some of these small towns with our banner etc. and recruit. In fact I am thinking that on our picket Monday (weather permitting) we can sit up the banner as well as picket if it's not too windy. If we get the attention these guys did we may sign up some folks and even get some help on the picket on the spot. What do you guys think? I'll be in touch tomorrow evening as far as the pickets for monday when we get a better feel for what the weather will be............Ed

JJ SPEND DAY IN RIFLE COLORADO AND ATTENDS RIFLE

ACTION???) This is the town where
last week a bunch of Mexican students
in Rifle H.S. jumped a little 14 yr. old
girl and tried to kill her. They broke her
nose in 3 places, dislocated different
parts of her body, and kicked her
repeatedly in the face. They boasted
they were trying to disfigure her. I was
told that teachers saw what was
happening and went back into their
schoolrooms! Later the boys wanted at
her but did not get a chance.
3 days later the Mexican students
started with another little 80 lb. h.s.
freshman girl on the bus. An American
boy stood up for her and the Mexicans
on the bus called their friends by
cellphone. When the bus driver got to
school, the latter stopped counting at
15 hispanic boys waiting to beat up the
American boy. The bus driver asked all
non-white kids off the bus and turned
the bus around and took the kids
home for their protection.
In the case of the girl who was beat up,
the police were NEVER called, the
doctor not called for 2 or 3 hrs.
(another report says 3 hrs.) and there
has been a history of racist violence
against American children in this h.s.
and in others nearby. The mother (who
I spoke to personally) reports that the
school stopped reporting these
incidents and other racist actions
against American children and also
stopped suspensions in 2002. Why?
Why is there a cover up? Is Bush afraid
Americans will get so mad, they will be
out in the streets demanding their
borders protected??? It's already
started, Mr. Bush!

J J and the Rocky Mountain MM arrived in Rifle about 1:00 PM today.
We set up our recruitment signs and flags in the heart of town, just
north of old town, and in front of the municipal pool, which was of
course, closed for the season. We arrived with just 5 MM. Soon we
had horn honks, waves, (nearly everyone waved or horn honked)and one
car of women and girls went by with everyone in the car clapping
their hands and screaming at the top of their lungs! This was the
very first time any of us has had that happen before. We were
getting absolutely spectacular response from the vehicles going by
our position. We worked from 1 until 5:00 PM, when we just had to
quit, as we were worn out from waving, and signing up new MM. We
even had one carload of young girls stop and demonstrate with us for
about a half hour or so!
We hit the Rifle High School Board of education auditorium at about
6:15, or so. People were already arriving for the 7:00 PM meeting
there, so we went ahead on in and got a good seat. We watched the TV
personalities interviewing students, etc. while we waited. By the
time things started at about 7:10 PM, the place was packed, and people
still kept coming. There were 300 chairs set up, and people had to
start standing up in the back of the auditorium. I estimate about
338 people were there at the peak.
It was a whitewash, pure and simple. First, all the principals from
the four schools in the area gave speeches on how great all the
schools are in the area. Then it was the students turn to speak.
Not one student had anything but praise for how great Rifle High
was. No bad race relations there...The school was
misunderstood. ..the media and other outside forces were conspiring to
blow things all out of proportion.. .our teachers are the greatest...
About this time, me and Chuck Haigler were ready to PUKE! Finally a
female school bus driver got a hold of the mike. She tried to tell it
like it was, but the main gripe on the board called her down once,
very loudly and rudely with, we're not going there tonight. We went
there at the last board meeting, and we're just not going to go there
again tonight. At least the bus driver had gotten another driver to
verify her story about how some of the problem students (me and Chuck
were guessing ILLEGAL STUDENTS about this time)were causing
problems,
both on and off the bus, and started to criticize the board for not
providing security for them on the bus and near the bus stops as
well.
At this point the board adjourned for a ten minute break, and most
people left, as it was almost 9 o'clock, and we could see how the
board was going. The 14 year old student was NEVER MENTIONED, not
once!! It was brought out that a counseling firm had been hired out
of Denver, and that the DOJ out of Denver was working the case.
At the break I did get a chance to speak to the Chief of Police of
Rifle, and the Sheriff of Garfield County as well. They both seemed
fairly nice guys, for cops. The Chief has jurisdiction of the case.
There is no way I can get a police report, but did get some info out
of the chief. Fact:

1)Parents did not get called until MORE than TWO
HOURS after the incident.

2) Police NEVER were called by the school,
nor anyone at the school.

3) police were informed of incident BY THE PARENTS sometime after
picking up their daughter.

4) Parents have not received any money for
medical bills from the school, and have spent over $20,000.00 so far.

5) Two students filmed the attack in progress and posted it on the net
More facts as we get them people, but it is looking at this point
like the board is in full white wash mode, and is hoping this will
just go away.

Will post more as it happens. I gave an interview to Channel 11 this
morning to use as a "teaser" for tonight's coverage of the event on
the 10:00 PM news.
