Keep an Eye oin Washington
Hello, I do not know how many of you know about this but there is a way to keep an eye on Washington! It's called: http://www.govtrack.us/ . For you technical types you can search by bill # or subject to see what potential future laws are in the works and what stage of the game they are at. The above page gives quite a bit of clear directions as to how to use this information to your advantage. You can then subscribe to feeds or set up an account with monitoring to get updates to bills that you are interested in. There are some "big ones" in the pot that bear watching, if you have never written to your representatives this may be time to dig out the old pen and fire away. Some of the proposals are in our favor, sadly, some are not. Please take the time to check these out and get the word to like minded individuals.

Thanks for the excellent info ATF![8D] 0 -
ATF, that is a great place to research info.
I have been using that site for quite some time. The one problem I have found is that, when you subscribe to the "feed" for these events, there have been no updates on the number of bills that I am watching. On bill 10-22 which we are ALL watching (or should be) the "feed" has given me no updated information on things like the number of cosponsors it has. Which is now 33. The site shows this. Maybe that is not a reason for an update, only giving you one if the bill moves out of committee or something like that.
It's still a GOOD site for reference.
Thanks for posting it.0 -
How damn true. Seems like only thing not being traced and recordered is the Illegal Aliens. Cant help but wonder why not. A cow raised in Canada and sold in the U.S. that has mad cow desease can be traced back to where it was born. But then I guess cows are more important to keep track of. Makes one wonder. 0 -
