Fajen sold to Midway several years ago and the last I knew they were only making/selling some of the Mauser stocks. Now it looks like Fajen has sold again

and the stocks are being made several places, but it is not clear who owns Fajen now: http://www.webcom.com/gun_guy/fajen.htm
Maybe still Battenfield (Midway).
I have one of the last of the original Rheinhart Fajen made Fajen stocks and it is a fine stock. These laminate stocks are resin impregnated and are heavier than non-laminate wood stocks. If you have any doubts, You should be able to return it to Midway. (yeah it IS a hassle but not a total loss. For my money, were I buying another laminate I would go back to Boyd's for another: http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/0 -
I have a Fajen on one of my 10/22's, it is the silhouette stock that came with the adams & benett barrel, very accurate combo. I love the feel and extra weight of the stock and it fits very well. I would highly recomemend one. 0
