Scope question!
Tomorrow i will be putting my scope on my new remington 700 bdl. The scope has a 42mm objective and a 30mm tube. I will be useing a leupold 1 piece base. But i am not sure if i can get away with using medium rings or if i have to get the high rings. This will be happening tomorrow so if i can get some help quick i would be much apreciative. Once again the gun is a Remington 700 BDL i will be using a leupold 1 piece base, Scope has a 30mm tube and a 42mm Objective, What height of rings do i need? Thanks [:)]

+1 what? you agree with SCorvers? or are you saying i need to go +1 more up?0 -
He is saying that he agrees (as do I) that Medium rings will be fine 0 -
Medium rings will work fine and the objective will be very tight to the bore. The only problem you'll run into is that a slip on scope cover my not fit between the objective bell and the barrel. 0
