Wild Boar hunting in Calif.

Hi. I'm interested in doing a wild boar hunt here in Calif. I'd prefer to hunt on state land, or private land without the expense of a guide. Anyone out there have any experince wild boar or suggestions about locations, etc?? Thanks Jim

  Look for local farms, there has been over population of them in CA and a lot of farmers will let you hunt on their land. Other than that, all depends on where exactly in CA you are, it's a big state. Look on BLM page for which land is near you, they have it pretty well organized with a lot of information. When and where are you going?
