range report -- CZ 452-2E ZKM
No pictures -- gave my camera to my pseudo-girlfriend who stayed behind in CA, at least for now.
So, I align the crosshairs, adjusted the scope position (I have an older Burris 1 3/4X - 5X Fullfield Wide Angle scope) and headed to the range.
After playing a bit with the scope, kind of sort of adjusted it to hit smaller things down range and then put up a target and zeroed it in. At 100 yards it's very accurate for a .22lr, after I exhausted the target and didn't want to walk 100 yards anymore started hitting whatever I could find in sight -- just garbage basically, ended up shooting at dandelions' heads at 100 yards. That was the best -- you can see the whole thing explode when I hit the center. All-n-all -- very good rifle, very accurate, 5-rd magazine is a little too small and ejector is a little tricky -- expanded round gets stuck sometimes if you don't pull the bolt fast enough, and another thing is it seems that it's not strong enough and a couple of shells ended up back inside.
Anyways, 't was a fun day shooting [:D]

damn accurate. would hate to have to find something thats more accurate for the money.0 -
That's what I heard too, well before I bought this one, I with I would've gotten one in .22WMR but it seems that with good ammo this would be more than sufficient as a varmint rifle. I am kind of new to .22 and I don't think I've ever shot .17 but I think I'll be getting into it more now.
Kmbercolt, does your cousin ever take it shooting little things, like ground dogs and some such?0 -
Oh, and there was this older guy with some 1911 .45, didn't hear which one it was when he said it and didn't ask again, anyways, he was hitting a man-shaped target with it at a 100 yards. That was pretty impressive. 0
