    Is "Russki" a derogatory term? Like "Polack?"

    I don't know. There aren't many Russians around here. If "Russki" is a bad word, we will dump it.

    Some considered it so, I, personally, don't care, not that I'd even think of having anyone make any special arrangements here 'cause of what I could care about or not. Never heard "Polak" to be offensive, none of my Polish buddies are offended by it, neither are my Jewish friends offended if you call them Jews, but again, we're a special bunch, and not in a good way [:p].

    Does it matter? No one here knows what I am. Doesn't change sh**. I'm proud of what my parents were. Irish mainly, then there's the other side..Native American if you want to be PC, but I don't give a rat's a**. Indian is ok..Red skin will do..Or if all else fails..Savage. Yeah, that works.     My mother had several words which she would use to describe Poland's neighbor and with online translators I can't use any of them without getting poofed!

    LOL [:)]. English has more words than any other language but it is no where near the most descriptive. In order to really swear at someone I believe that you need to be able to speak one of the Slavic languages, where profanity is a mainstay of conversation. Although Polish is good, until you could hear my old man swearing in Serbo-Croatian, you have not truely been cursed at!

    Ask any German, Dutchman, Flemish, French, etc. what they think of Poland.
