I don't know about the medication part though. I guess if the government says they would never do something like that, means they won't, eh.

Anyhow, too bad it's impossible to talk to people who survived the russian revolution of 1917, but there's a ton written, all the nay-sayers should really get a library card and go dig up some memoirs from that era and what's been happening. Or 1930's Germany.
