Kimber Magazine Question

Hey guys,
I am looking at picking up a few extra magazines for my Kimber TLE/RL. I have heard that some magazines are cheap and hinder the loading. What are the best brand to buy. Does anybody have any imput on extended mags, are they reliable? Is the extended mag make the gun cumbersome?

    wilson combat hands down, just hold one in your hand you'll know

    I have a Kimber Gold Match and use Wilson Combat and Shooting Star Mags. Never had a problem with either

    What kind of "extended" are you talking about?
    8 round, 10, 15, 30?

    wilson 8 rounders are the same size as the 7 round mags, the tens stick out about an inch or more, they are fine for plinking or uspsa limited 10, anything bigger is ridiculous

    Why not pick up more Kimber mags from Kimber for your Kimber pistol?

    My 7 rounders fit flush with the bottom of the mag well, the 8 rounders with bumpers stick out a little over 1 bullets worth. (which is what you would expect) The 10 rounders do stick out a bit, but are easily manageable. All of these have worked fine. As for the 15 rounders, I tried some with a little carbine rifle I have, none have ran good, so far. I went back to using the 10 round ones. Haven't tried the 30 rounders, didn't feel the need for a monopod. [:0]

    The best 1911 mag is the Cobramag made by Tripp Research, Inc.

    I was talking to Rob Leatham at a shooting fair and he said that the best mags on the market are the Cobra's, you can't destroy them and he hasn't been able to bend one yet.
