Stupity seems to follow me this week...
So, I fairly recently became single and finally getting to get out and meet some girls and what's called "date" (whatever the heck that means). Anyhow, just got back from one of these "dates" and get the email from the prospective wuteva saying "we didn't click". WTH does that even mean?! I am not going into the whole thing of that people don't "click" after 30 minute conversation, well, shallow barby-types I guess do. Also, it seems that "sex and the city" type shows have done their fair share of brain washing the masses. Oh well, natural selection in the works, sad to see how little good genes are left out there though.
Geez! What's wrong with me, I am whining like a little ... well, ya know, b-word.

It means she didn't feel any kind of emotional connection with you that was strong enough to warrant a second date. 0 -

Which means she has an IQ of a goat.0 -

Good for you..You know maybe if you just drop her a line and mention something you talked about, she'll come around. Worth a try if you like her. 0 -

Emotional connection has absolutely nothing to do with IQ. One of my ex's was a very attractive young woman with a lot going for her, but after a few months of going out with her, I didn't feel anything for her. I'm not stupid. There's no point being with someone who you have no emotional connection with.
The same thing happened in the opposite direction with my most recent ex. She didn't feel any connection with me, but I was absolutely crazy about her. We're both very intellegent people. There's more in this situation, but I don't feel like going into it in that much detail.
Blaming her lack of connection on her IQ just goes to show your limited IQ.0 -
Good taste is good taste.
Obviously she had none.
Would you please give her my email address ??

Naw, but thanks. That was just a rant, though with a meaning. I handle rejection pretty well, it's the other things that get to me,
no big deal.0 -

Now, why would you want to do that? Do you not have enough problems with stupid immigrants (and locals) in this country already? Bring in some Ph.D.'s instead (just don't let them vote). [8D]0 -

get the email saying "we didn't click". Don't you just love the internet???
I haven't dated in 14 years (married[;)]) but back in the day, when you didn't "click", the woman would tell you in your face.
Now-a-days, it's emails, text-messages, voice mail messages.
Rejection is soooo impersonal these days.
BTW, if you don't click...such is life...move on to the next.0 -
So, would someone, please, explain to me wth is a "click"? My mouse buttons click, my seat belt clicks, my guns click too. And hell no, you CAN'T know whether there's an "emotional connection" after a few minutes of knowing a person, "emotional connections" don't just happen, they are developed. Well, in the time and age of, yeah, IM's, emails, "People" magazine, etc., I guess it's a little harder to find a piece of gold among all this trash.
Dolfan, no, I am not going to move on, I will keep on calling, emailing, stalking, etc. Geez.
Alright, fellers, I am off for my 5 mile, I am already 15 minutes late. Ya'll have a wonderful night and all that.0 -
All I will tell you, from one who went through it too, is to "stay out of the bars" when looking for someone.
Unless of course, all you want is to get laid, then bar skanks are fine.[}:)]0 -
Thanks, LT [:)], I'll keep that in mind. 0
