water freezing trick

Someone was asking a while ago about a bottle of water turning into ice. I don't remember if anyone explained it or not, but just in case, here it is explained:

It used to be a neat party trick to do this with a bottle of a Corona (I guess it's really close to water then by its consistency [:D] )
