H&R excel
I've got about a $4-500 budget for a 12ga to be used for skeet.
The guy at the gun store suggested a H&R excel auto. I've found a few reviews on there rifles that were all positive but I'm having trouble finding any stories of the excel itself.
Has anyone had experience with the Excel Auto? Any other recommendations would be helpful too.
I'm new to skeet so it doesn't have to be anything fancy.

don't know much about Excel, but i use izh-27, which i believe now is branded and remington spartan. pretty decent shotgun, i hear new ones are a little stiff to break, but once broken in they work fine. the only other 12ga i tried shooting clay was some variant of browning citori and being pretty new to it myself (only went through maybe around 1500 shells so far) i didn't see much performance difference, but again, i am pretty new and under $500 spartan aka izh-27 works just fine. 0
