PATHETIC .. JUST PATHETIC. NO OTHER WORD DESCRIBES
You've heard by now that Paris Hilton is going to jail. She has to spend 45 days in some luxury jail cell in the Hollywood area for basically flipping off the law. Paris thought that the very same laws that ordinary poor ugly people had to follow just couldn't apply to her. To the surprise of absolutely nobody Hilton has blamed her troubles on someone else. It's all her publicist's fault. So he's been fired.
Now for the pathetic part ... as if Paris Hilton isn't pathetic enough.
Joshua Capone, a Paris Hilton fan, has written a letter to California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger asking him to step in and keep Paris Hilton out of jail. Get ready to lose your last meal, because I want to share with you a line from Joshua's letter:
"She provides hope for young people all over the U.S. and the world. She provides beauty and excitement to our otherwise mundane lives."
And you think our culture of celebrity worship isn't a problem

That's only part of the story! I heard on the radio today that she actually wrote GW asking for a pardon!! She sighted some lame excuses why she should be pardoned for this like everything she does for the community and young children or something of that nature.
I'm sure that will go to the top of the priority list. lol

The place she is schedule to go to is no country club. Very rough, ruled by bull lesbians. If she goes she may get her own cell, but this won't be a walk in the park. There is no way she gets pardoned, Arnold is not that dumb. 0 -

Generally you do your time in County Jail for stuff like this. No luxury cells there.
While it can be argued that the judge may have dished out a sentence in excess of what is normally assigned (but still within sentencing guidelines)not only did she disregard the law on several previous occassions but she demonstrated contempt for the court itself by being late which may have been the "last straw" in the eyes of the judge. He could have charged her with contempt,something he should have done to her mother who showed her contempt by loudly sighed and moaned through the proceedings, and tossed her in the can indefinetly. Not to mention she reportedly flat out refused every other option presented that would have allowed her to stay out of jail.
Unfortunately I heard last night that the jail is overcrowded and most are only serving 10% of their time. That would mean ony 4 1/2 days for Paris. Maybe the judge knew that!0 -
