WTH? They were probably just made that way so they could be sold in Canada without changing the box.

Maybe that's why they were selling them.

    Blue..
If the box is sold in Canada, by LAW it has to have the french translation printed on it....Yes its law, as there are 2 official languages in canada...french and english...

Why is there spanish on items in the states?...it will be law sooner than you think, and you will have two official languages as well...You will need to speak both to be able to get a job, you have to take it in school, there will be spanish immersion schools and it will be law...sooner than you think...

Oh by the way, it will be made law without anyone knowing about it...if you get my drift..

I really doubt it'll be the case in the US, though it's my wishful thinking probably that people would revolt (not necessary in a violent way, there're more ways to revolt against those in government than bloody, such as recalls and reelections).

You doubt it?...take a good look around...you have spanish tv stations, you have spanish on the phones (gov't answering machines) spanish on food items, in hospitals, spanish in the instructions you get when you purchase an item....

There are all kinds in the states and in canada, why not their language printed?...there is a much larger italian population in canada than french but you dont have to learn italian...

Stop and think how much spanish you see and hear every day...and then in five years come back and we will see what has happened..

Black Roses, I just defected from CA only 4 weeks ago, I _KNOW_ exactly what it's like to be a minority English speaking resident, trust me.

I am saying, that I doubt it will become an official language by law. Right now, it's only private businesses trying to cater to mexicans, well, it's in our hands as citizens to show those businesses that they are wrong -- don't do business with them and let them know why.

As for official language -- I believe it has to pass some serious legislation before A language becomes the official language of the United States.
