Yep, the ol mod 60 is hard to beat..affordable, accurate, and
    reliable.
I have a similar gun in a magnum, but it just hangs on the rack
most of the time, because I've not came across anything the lr
    won't handle.[:)][:)][:)]

    Some alternative suggestions:

    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=68262495 <- 922

    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=68236185 <- Win 22 mag pump

    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=68711761 <- Remington Semi auto 22 mag

    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=68397579 <- Henry Lever 22 mag

    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=68259219 <- Marlin lever 22 mag

And if a bolt action would do, I've got that Marlin 25 MN that could be bought.

Henry, I could not mount the night scope on a bolt action without grinding the rear of the mount on the scope. Bolt would hit it when opened. Didn't really want to do that since the scope has a 2 yr warranty. Now I have a $275 Rifle with a $1400 list scope. [:0] ATN 440 Generation 2+. I got a superb deal on the scope or wouldn't have bought it off fleabay.

I didnt even know marlin made one. I know that weatherby used to, and another Hi dollar company. I think feeding was a problem on one of them. please let me know how you like it.

The .22 Magnum has more punch at 100 yd than the .22 LR does at the muzzle. Weight of the gun and scope was also a factor. The 922 weights 6.5#. The scope weight is 4#

Uh.. if you can see it with the naked eye why the night vision ? Try looking out across a field and see the clarity of it. Looks like a generation 1 magnifier. And if it is weapon mounted where is the ^ or crosshairs? $1399 no bargain.

No doubt the mag can reach out and get them better, but the lr will
    drop a Deer @ 100yrds easily enough.

have had one for years..mounted a 6x20x44 scope for prairie rats ...lots of fun with hollow points, you can tell diff between hits & misses easier than using solid point...added a spring spacer to increase mainspring tension as this rifle blew more out the side than any other 22 mag semi than i have owned..prefer oomph down the barrel

Select fire, I had a 922 and sold it. It was not as accurate as I had hoped it would be. I also had a problem with it jamming and Marlin sent me a whole new trigger group. If you get this gun, let me know and I will give you the old trigger group for parts if you want it. I bought the Remington 597 .22 magnum semi auto and it has performed flawless for the past 8 years. I just took it to the range friday and was shooting some real tight groups at 100 yards. I really liked the 922, if it had just been a little more accurate, I would have kept it. Good luck.

Try and find a H&R 700 22 mag. I have two, they are excelent rifles. If I do my part I can shoot inch and a half 5 shot groups at 100 yds. You will probably pay 300-400. If you want to go high end look for a BRNO I think they are under CZ now. What ever you do dont get a 597.?action=view&current=pix2631761594.jpg?action=view&current=IMG_0513.jpg?action=view&current=IMG_0512.jpg
One before and 2 after pics. Bought here on GB!
