"Welcome to "The Age of Deniability." A time when every story has at least two sides and it no longer matters if you are right just as long as you have a good argument."

Do you think we have reached the point where truth no longer matters as long as you have a good argument?

Are we truly living in "The Age of Deniability?"

  "Every story having two sides" is a concept I have no problem with, so long as it's remembered that in many cases one of the sides is wrong. But, to answer your question -- yes, we're long-since at the point where "truth" is simply another word that changes in definition according to who's using it, and the ability to field a good argument in your favor carries more weight than what's right or wrong, true or false.

  Another Unintended Consequence from the Era of Moral Relativism.
  
  "Sure they crossed the border, but it's not 'that much of a crime' since they're here to work."
  
  "Sure they don't have insurance, but it's not 'that much of a crime' since they're poor."
  
  "Sure they used false documents to get work but it's not 'that much of a crime' because they do the work that you won't do."
  
  "Sure their kids are gangbanging scum, but it's not 'that much of a crime' because they don't have the same opportunities as you do."
