Did you enjoy "Prince"?
I must be out of touch or something. His music just don't cut it with me.

I love the way he holds his wrist! [:o)] 0 -
I thought he put on a great show. Back in the 80s I kinda liked his music but his later stuff I don't care for.
Regardless of whether you like the artist or not, you have to admit he put on a decent show. He didn't get all weird or anything. He just got up there and sang to the best of his ability.
On the other hand, I didn't care for Billy Joel's National Anthem. I though he hit a few sour notes.0 -

And his aunt Jemima headband.0 -
I thought he was all WET[:D][8D] 0 -
Better than the Rolling Stones, thats for sure. They need to retire. 0 -
I liked it. He was one of my favorites back in the 80s. I thought Billy Joel hit a few bad notes also. 0 -
Best high decibel feedback I've heard in a long time. He's a master of the shrill sound. Ranks right up there with the beloved Trashmen.
Well...maybe not that high...but up there...maybe as good as Sam the Sham??0 -
Deep down, I was hoping that the wet guitar would shock the hell out of him.[}:)] 0 -
I'm not a big "prince" fan-if that is what he calls himself now. I do like "Purple Rain" and "Little Red Corvette"-from my younger days. I did think he put on a good show. He got up there and did his thing and entertained the masses. I kept thinking one of those girls in the high heels was gonna fall on her butt any second. And even if you don't care for him, he did get up and perform with a smile in spite of the crappy, rainy weather. 0 -

It would have had to be plugged in to do that. The CD player was warm and dry in the control booth I'm sure.0 -
Never have,never will[xx(] 0 -
I would like to hear him sing country music. Once would be enough. 0 -

Reminds me of a story told to me by a friend who was a house detective in one of the 5-star hotels in Dallas back in the 1980s.
Prince had a concert in Dallas and was staying at the hotel. My friend had to escort Prince and friends from their rooms down to the garage to their limo. Prince is apparently a very sensitive type, and was very nervous about the concert. In the elevator, he was hugging up on one of his (male) friends/bodyguards/associates, whimpering and asking to be held.

There's nothing wrong with the dude that a hitch in the Marine Corps wouldn't cure. [:D] 0 -
Low Rider - What do you think the Corps would do for him? If you think it will make a "man" out of him, I'm pretty sure that there are plenty of gay men in the Marines. Frankly, if you think he's gay, putting him the marines is like putting Michael Jackson in charge of a day care....[;)] 0 -
he knows how to play that guitar can't take that away from him 0 -
Much improved for sure.... 0 -
I don't believe my post contained the word "gay." Do you see it, Jgreen? I sure as hell don't see it. 0 -
It's the superbowl. One of the manliest games played. And they pick PRINCE for the halftime show? And who the hell designed that pregame show? I felt like light'n up for the first time in years just to watch it.
Why not get some good music?0 -
Lowrider, you didn't say it, you implied it, based on all of the prior posts. If not, why don't you tell us all what is wrong with him.[;)] 0 -
NO!!
JEFF0 -
he looked more like a queen to me [;)] 0 -
I "implied it," huh? Right!!
So anytime someone thinks the Marines could make a better man out of a certain individual they MUST believe that individual is "gay?" [:D]
You're even smarter than Karnak the Magnificant.0 -
Looked pretty good for a man that is 49. 0 -
Never was a fan of Prince so, no, I didn't really enjoy the halftime show. 0 -
I liked when he started jammin "All Along The Watchtower" 0 -
Nope.

Manly???????????? What's manly about a bunch overly-pampered, spoiled, overpaid crybabies crashing into one another? Crybabies who, but for their athletic ability, whether natural or drug-enhanced, would be working at McDonald's or doing hard time in prison?
IMNSHO, Prince is a great choice for entertainment at the Super Bowl, since the Village People were busy.0 -

There are a few that fit that category. They ruin it for the others.0
