Ah yes, the old "well, in one case the rule was not valid so therefore the rule is never valid." While Muslims are across the globe bombing, beheading, and terrorizing, while 10% of all British Mulsims wanted more terror attacks against the US and UK, while Muslims in Amsterdam, despite being giving an extraordinary amount of hospitality, government monies and aid, and freedom, are now hard at work trying to erradicate the very freedom they've flourished under, despite the fact that the head of the largest Muslim PAC in the US has said that his goal is to see the United States turned into a Muslim nation with a theocracy, despite all of that, there are a few good Muslims here and there and so we should just ignore this problem.

If 30% of a certain kind of skin lesions turned into cancer, would you go and get the lesion removed? Of course you would. If 30% of the cars made by a particular manufacturer turned out to be lemons, would you buy a car from that manufacturer? Of course you wouldn't. We're all logical and reasonable until the conversation turns to Muslims, and then people leap to their defense even as the Muslims are plotting to kill the very people defending them.

Yes, the Constitution includes freedom of religion. But a mindset obsessed with slaughter, mayhem, and suicide is not a religion. It's a nihilistic fantasy, a celebration of horror and violence. It is NOT a religion.

And really, if you truly love the Constitution and all our freedoms, why are you trying to protect Muslims. If Muslims took over in the US the FIRST thing they would do would be abolish the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Do you think you would be allowed to be a Catholic, a Jew, a Hindi in a Muslim-controlled land? Do you think you'd be allowed to criticize the government, draw a cartoon of the leaders, speak your mind?

Every single place in this world that Islam has been allowed to flourish has been greated by increased violence and mayhem. Every single one. Even the Europeans, the silly, love everybody, PC Europeans, are starting to realize that Muslims are taking over their countries from within and are starting to restrict immigration. Too bad they're decades too late.

Oh, and a final thought: When Iraq finally goes all the way into the toilet bowl and the helicopters are taking off from the roofs in the Green Zone, where do you think all those Muslim refugees will be headed? Where do you think 400,000, 700,000, 1,000,000 Iraqi refugees are going to suddenly turn up?

We either stop this madness now, or we never have another chance to.

quote:So what is the solution then? The pre-emptive internment of over three MILLION American Muslims?

No, I don't advocate imprisoning American citizens. But we could deport all the alien Muslims, which most are. Put 'em on a plane back to Syria, or Lebanon, or Saudi Arabia, or whichever craphole they came from. We won't do it, but it's a nice thought.

Yes, Catholic terrorists in Ireland have been blowing up innocents since before 9/11. The goal has been to remove Protestant control and to gain independence.

Islamic terrorists are blowing up innocents around the world. The goal is to kill anyone who doesn't believe just as they do.

Moreover, Allah is not the God of the Bible. Oh, they may claim that he is, but God and Allah are most certainly not one in the same. Jews and Christians pray to God. Allah is more like Satan.

I've been studying Islam for a while now (I'm not actually a Muslim, I'm just studying their religion), and I found that the Qur'an makes mention of Jesus, the Virgin Mary and a fair deal of the Jewish prophets. I'd say they're worshipping the same God as us.

Yep, keep studying. You're bound to learn something. What you're citing, so far, is grossly inaccurate with regard to islam.

BTW, Kathy Griffin "made mention of Jesus" in her Emmy award acceptance, but I wouldn't consider her a Christian--nor is she remotely acquainted with the God of the Bible. But that's another story. ( http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=57586 )

The Qur'an does indeed "mention" Jesus, but muslims DO NOT regard Jesus as the Son of God. They contend that "God has no son." Therefore, their "god" cannot be the one exalted in the Christian scriptures. If you actually READ the Qur'an, you'll note that muhammed did NOT seem to know the story of the "Jewish prophets" as it is recorded in the Jewish scriptures. He completely screwed up the story of Abraham, just to note one example. muhammed was given to fits--quite possibly demonic trances--during which he received his "revelations" from the alleged angel Gabriel. If the Biblical angel Gabriel was truly responsible for transmitting such tripe to muhammed, then Gabe must have followed in the path of Lucifer, having sadly FALLEN after announcing the birth of Jesus and going under the employ of the satan himself.

My point is simply this: DO NOT be na?ve with regard to islam, muslims, muhammed et al. Appearances can be (ARE) VERY DECEIVING. Indeed, islam is predicated on deception. The qur'an promotes war (jihad) and sanctions (authorizes and blesses) LYING in order to gain advantage over the enemy (that's ALL non-muslims). To be ignorant of the savageness of islam is to walk blissfully into total destruction.

Separation of church and state is a political and legal doctrine which states that government and religious institutions are to be kept separate and independent of one another. The term most often refers to the combination of two principles: secularity of government and freedom of religious exercise.[1]

quote:Get your facts right. Catholic Irish terrorists have been murdering people for years.

The Irish folk mentioned see themselves as freedom fighters struggling against an oppressive foreign occupying force. Put yourself in their place and see how you would behave. I don't agree with the methods, but the Irish have gotten the dirty end of the stick for a darn long time.

    Very true, but.
There have been many declared ceasefires between the IRA and the British over the years. And each one has ended with the IRA breaking the truce. And the reason is simple. The IRA control, with violence, all the drugs, prostitution, loan sharking and just about every other crime, in Ireland, both North and South. If they ever get independence their criminal empire will crumble.
It started as a noble cause, then greed took over. How many times have we seen that over the years?

what all if any of this got to do with muslims?

We are straying from the point a bit I agree.
The analagy I was trying to make was that all cults, Catholic, Muslim etc use violence as an excuse to further their membership or power.

    WRONG!
That's part of the problem we face in any discussion of religion or divinity and political speech.
The Constitution only states that the government cannot create a state-sponsored religion like the Church of England.
It does not say that schools are not allowed to have prayers said in them, it doesn't mean that Nativity scenes are prohibited from city property, it doesn't mean that we can't have the Pledge of Allegiance said because it has the word God in it, and it darn sure doesn't mean that we have to tolerate Muslim extremists in any form in our own country!
I am the least tolerant(of ignorance, oppression & tyranny) person on this board; but even I have a problem with segregating Muslims to Texas, heck that's just next door!
I think the FBI/CIA/DHS should set up some of those surveillance cameras (like the ones all over at intersections) outside every Muslim/Islamic center/mosque to identify each and every one of these screwheads and their cohorts so that it will be easier to find them when we finally wake up and decide to ouster these bent individuals from our country.
Best bet would be to fuel a plane only 1/3 of what it would take to reach its' destination, load it to the gills with "those people", and fly it off into the sunset remotely.
    Save America; dust some Muslims!
