Good man died
Yesterday morning a good man died in Atlanta. His name was Billy Morgan. He was 55 years old. He was a Vietnam veteran, a law enforcement officer, and a former coworker of mine. He died tragically after hitting an ambulance head on while going the wrong way on I-75. The crash was not alcohol related. The best we can figure is that his diabetes got out of whack and he did not know what he was doing.
This man served his country and community in one way or another his entire life. He was what I would like to become one day. He was a good man.
Send prayers if you will for his family. I know they could use them.
Billy was a kind fellow. One of those old school cops. The kind that didn't sweat the small stuff and didn't act like a Nazi. He was a role model for all the young officers who new him. He will be greatly missed.
This man served his country and community in one way or another his entire life. He was what I would like to become one day. He was a good man.

That is a sad story. I heard it on the Atlanta news; although I am 220 miles from Atlanta, I sometimes listen to am750 at night.
They also said that the Paramedics and the patient in that ambulance were uninjured. That is hard to believe.
So they suspect diabetes out of whack? That will cause disorientation for sure.

He was currently working for the Powder Springs PD.0
