The point of the article seems to be: using old tech wire and cement fencing seems to work just fine, while the high tech "virtual" fence that will cost the billion bucks is not functional.0 -

Works every time Spryor. There are now no illegals in New Mexico, even though the majority of the population is legal hispanic citizens. That three miles of fence sealed the entire 350 mile border. 0 -
So just because they have not built the entire fence, they should not build anything? Some of you guys are impossible to please. At least this 3 miles is keeping the traffic down in THIS area. 0 -
Only because it is simply easier to walk around the end. Put it all up and it will get cut faster than more chain link can be made. 0 -
fence it all and shoot them off of the fence when they try to climb over.
the problem is that some of our citizens have their loyalties misplaced to favor Mexishyt.
they need to get heaved over the fence too.

One other thing. The typical tactic of tonk-enablers is to lump all "hispanics" along with illegals. As though all hispanics are racist enough to think monochromatically. As though they're all on the same "team".
However, when votes come up, this does not hold water. Here in AZ, nearly half of hispanics voted FOR initiatives which would deny bail to Illegals, deny financial aid to illegals and require ID at the polls.
