San Francisco gun turn-in program
A picture in our newspaper yesterday showed a couple of grinning San Francisco police officers with a rifle. Gist of the article was they are having a program to (a) turn in your rifle or handgun and (b) receive a gift certificate for some place or other. No questions asked or warrants issued although they said that all serial numbers would be verified and, if ....stolen, etc........, questions would be forthcoming. Claimed they even got a few 'black rifles', the naughty kind.
What are you going to buy with your gift certificates???? New Winchesters???? Need some humor out here today.
Regards, Bob

I got a couple that I would turn in for a 150.00 bucks a shot. A person could become rich buying and selling high-points at these 0 -
Sounds like a good place to dump a few jennings and davis's, you would make double your money....
it is also a good place to go shopping, somebody comes in with a nice rifle to trade in, offer then $100 more than the cops are going to and you'll still be ahead of the game.0 -
A poor substitute for real police work and getting thugs off the streets.[V] But then again those are San Francisco values.[xx(] 0
