gun question
More specific and Egyptian Hakkim (sp?) . Friend of mine was out yesterday shooting and every 2nd or 3rd shot didn't discharge. Upon inspection we notice the casings that had fired had a deeper dent in the primer than the ones that did not fire. 2 questions, do you think this is a firing pin/spring problem? And if so, anyone know where to get parts at a reasonable price?
Thanks

Some of the pistols that are in her estate that I don't want are
Colt trooper
colt python
ppk
german walther
colt 1911
luger 9mm mauser
colt 45cal. semi-aut
I have offered 200.00 each acroos the board for the whole lot. They want 250.00 each. There is no rust but all need a good cleaning and most have the original boxes with them, but not in excellent shape. What do you think, give them the 250.00 each?0 -
If you don't I will. 0 -
it would be almost a sin if you didnt buy them for that price 0 -
Yes I would pay the 250. 0 -
Absoulely, pay the $250.00 and grin all the way home. 0 -

duckhunter, the widow has died as well as her husband, and the rest of the family (one niece who doesn't live around here) are totally against having a gun in the house so their lady lawyer is the one selling them off for the estate. The house and property are being sold next. I may want to buy the house and gut it and make me a nice 3 bay garage and work shop if it sell's cheap enough. 0 -
Tell them you'll take them all then call me. We'll split them. I live in Florida. [:D] 0 -
for that kind of money you had better be running over there and getting them before some one else does , that is a very good buy
if as you say they are in good shape with boxes then
most of them are worth twice what they are asking , or more0 -
Don't forget this person is your neighbor...and you will be rewarded for your good deeds. Buy them all and greatfully pay the $250...but the ones you don't want to keep you should sell and at least split the money you collect over your $250 investment.
I will buy them, list them for sell here on Gun Broker and mail her a check if you don't want to mess with it.
You shouldn't feel bad for taking the guns at the insane low number they are selling them for.....but its one of those things you know they don't know what they could get. People unfamiliar with guns are really intimidated when dealing when it comes to selling them or trying to deal with what they need to do. I'm just glad this isn't one of those widows who opted to call the local law enforcement to have them destroyed.0 -
Be a good neighbor and give her $275 a piece. It's still a bargain at that price. 0
