The link doesn't work, but I agree that Sylvester Stallone having a CCW is pure and total BS.

For someone that advocated a nationwide door-to-door search to seize all handguns "because we're living in the Dark Ages" in America to have a CCW is nothing more than hypocritical cowardice.

If he wants a gun-free America so badly, he can lead by example or shut the f*** up.

I don't like his opinion but if he is a non-felon US citizen, he has the right to his opinion and a right to bear arms.

Remember the little thing they call the Constitution...

When he uses his position of fame and priviledge to attempt to deprive me of my rights, he's not acting like an American, he's acting like royalty - and everyone knows how Americans treated the royals back in 1776.

His right to bear arms went out the door when he called for the rest of us to forfeit the same.

A LOT of these well heeled anti gun types either have armed body guards or they carry. Of course they're more "responsible" and have more of a need for protection than "common" folk.[8]s

Just remember that the 1st amendment guarantees free speech-even that which you don't like or that you disagree with.

We all know what the second guarantees....

You can't advocate for the second unless you also agree to stand up for the first...and all the other amendments. They are "God-given".

Otherwise, your vocal support of the second could be restricted as well. Be careful what you wish for...

I'm not advocating the restriction of his 1st Amendment rights, only the enacting of his spoken position on an individual basis, that is to say, the stripping away of his 2nd Amendment rights because that is what he desires.

I am not advocating censorship - I merely propose to give him what he wants. That it will only apply to him and other gun grabbers should be the culmination of their pursuit of happiness and in no way should be considered an abrogation of their rights.

Just as those who supported the violation to our right to privacy should not be surprised when they find theirs violated, neither should gun grabbers be vexed when suddenly their Bill of Rights numbers nine.
