It feels like a blast furnace outside, so it's....
...time to get off the mountainside and head for the river. [^]
Holly put a picnic together for us and I'm going to stand in the river, drink cold beer and fish. [8D]

Sounds like a plan,...........would like to have that option myself. 0 -
Where are you? Kuwait? You don't know what a blast furnace is until you've lived in 150+ degree heat and then had wind. 0 -

HobbyGuy is probably still enjoying the mountains. Here in Great Falls, we hit around 103 yesterday but today's high is 90.0 -

FEENIX hit it on the head! We reached 102 downtown and 103 on our mountain. We didn't make it home from the river until 10:45 and it was still hot as a pistol. It finally cooled down to 80 around midnight and 68 by 3:30 am. I got about three hours of sleep. We don't have A/C for the 20 odd days each year it gets hot, but I'm picking up a window mounting A/C unit this afternoon from Costco. I figured, what's our sleep worth? Everything in my eyes. [;)]
We're fortunate to have some high clouds today, so it shouldn't break the 90 degree mark. Hope everyone stays cool today. [^]0 -

High was about 87 today in south LA. Still hot enough to make you sweat when mowing the yard, what with all the humidity. But then again, it is July - it could just as easily have been 97, so I'm thankful. 0 -
We hit 87 yesterday in the mountains of North Carolina. It is 65 this morning.
That western heat wave is supposed to hit us today, so we will see.0 -
Almost got to 80 yesterday, here in the Great NorthWest...48 in the morning, Sun burns through the "late night and early Morning Coastal Clouds" around 1000, 70 for lunch, Light breezes and 75 around 1500, peak at about 78, then gradual cooling....rinse, repeat. 0 -

I can tell you're not a college boy. Lots of college boys drink goldfish trying to get into a fraternity.0
