    In the truck thread you mentioned the refinery in Paulsboro, is that now the Valero refinery? I used to be in and out of there daily.

    not to completely take over the other thread, here is my solution to shredding the tobacco.

    needed to shred the tobacco so I could roll it.
    'baccy shredders are a couple hundred bucks, yea, aint happening.
    DID have g-pa's ole hand-cranked cabbage shredder he used to make sauerkraut!

    but the blade/support gap was WAY too wide, and didn't want to destroy a true antique drilling/grinding/cutting the original machine parts... SOooo.

    spent a couple hours with a hunk of oak board...

    and got some real nice shredded tobacco!

    Jeff, Where is Jupiter, Florida?????? I am heading into Ft. Lauterdale next week to go to key west and was going to stop and visit. If it is to far out of the way, I am going to Sanibel at Christmas and come down 95 to route 4. Maybe we could hook up. Oakie.

    Jeff, sorry I didn't get to see you. I left you a text on your phone, did you get it??? My wife broke her toes and I had to stay with her. We spent all day Sunday in the hotel because she could hardly walk. I will be down there again and promise to get over there to see ya. Oakie.

    While rooting through movies I found one you might enjoy seeing.

    It's called "Little Big Man" with Dustin Hoffman and Faye Dunaway.

    In essence, it's kinda like Forest Gump but set in the Old West. Hoffman plays Jack Crabb who is with Custer at Little Big Horn.
