    Marketing is everything.

Perhaps they can raise the price a little. Make some money on the exchange rate.

When I first saw the thread title, I thought it said: "Pizza Patton." Oops.

I know they are "just doing business, it's the American way".

just a sign of the times and sign of the Pesos' growing value.

I did'nt think they could do that
as it is not legal tender in the US.

You can choose to accept payment in any form you want (pesos, gold bullion or pigs).

Paying is another story. The payee (like the IRS) has the right to ask for payment ONLY in US $$$$.

This is only news to the unknowing. Businesses along the border have been taking pesos since before Texas was part of the USA.

Yep, it's legal. Depending on the exchange rate I would take about any foriegn currency. Some people make good money buying and selling currency.[:)]

I've been to plenty of places in Canada that accept American currency, especially near the border. Money is money.

Doesn't matter. This is a private entity doing business, they can accept dried boogers as legal tender if they want.
