Bought a group of coins from a guy a few months back. Sent him several emails and sent payment. He finally got back to me about 5 days later. He was on vacation.

I would not worry sometimes sellers do not live on their ebay accounts. He may just be busy right now. I wouldn't worry until a week went by at the least.

Bought an item yesterday afternoon. Watched on the computer as the auction ended to see if I got sniped. Saw it end, and immediately paid using pay pal. Sent a message to the seller through e-bay contact. Still haven't heard one word from the guy except for the generic e-bay congratulatory message. Getting kinda worried about it. Should I be? How long should I wait before contacting ebay customer service?
I sell on ebay all the time and like to give all the time a person needs to send payment, There is a lot of ebayer that wont there money in 3days and thats not the way it use to be. Give the guy a week before sending a last email before you turn it over to ebay. I dont sit a my computer every day and some time im out of town on business.

about the last half dozen items i purchased i had the same experience, no response at all, but i have received the items, i guess it has become the normal way although just plain rude, you can bet your azz they will respond to a question while the auction is still running

Could the seller be in a snow/ice bound area? There are some states in the midwest that are out of power ..

Hadn't thought of that. He is in northern Ohio. [:0] Still nothing, but he does have over 1100 positive feedbacks as a seller. That's something, I guess.

There's a message on the eBay home screen stating that due to the snowstorm, you should expect people will have difficulties getting to their accounts.

If the seller has generally good FB, be patient. It likely isn't his fault.
