I'm having a discussion with a fellow American. I knew the person was very liberal but I was shocked by this message.

    quote:
I don't like these aspects of Ron Paul:

He does not support the legality of abortion
    He is against amnesty
He supports placing the power of the dollar in the hands of an institution already ravaged by lobbying and barely functioning as is (Our Legislative bodies).
He does not support complete separation of Church and State
He supports the 2nd amendment whole-heartedly
He believes in weakening the power of the federal government

I loved your comment that "No politician is your friend anymore."
I cannot agree with this more. I dislike nearly every politician I see. They're full of false promises, worried about their public appearance, and often quite hypocritical. The senate does not reflect our country.
I hate our two party system. In order to run this country you must first secure the allegiance of a private organization.

As far as politics go, it's a matter of deciding who I hate the least, which I have yet to do.

Amnesty? Wow. This person obviously doesn't like guns much either. The comment about "deciding who I hate the least" really floored me also because earlier he said he wants to strength the goverment. Why would you want to strengthen the thing you said were full of false promises and hypocritical?!

    I don't understand the mentality.

And why didn't you push her in front of that oncoming train?
