Can someone say nerd? Guess what, I can wrench on anything from lawn mowers to eight engine nuclear bombers. Take that stereotypers.

    I have 2 laptops and have wrenched on everything from weedeaters to the International Space Station, and back to B2 Bombers[8)]

    Yes sir, aircraft mech nerd and proud of it. Fully certified A&P and a fully qualified 5-level Crew Chief on the B52.

    Hardrive is clean and a XP Pro is newly installed. I kinda like computers. On a side note, this makes four computers that I had/have that are running off the same Windows install disk, and they were all authenticated by Microsoft during registration.

    I use what I know and the Dell was cheap(used). They'll both do what I need them to do.

    12 hours after getting the laptop, I have found some weak points. I think I'm going to need more RAM and hard drive space. I have to do a full service pack 2 install so I can run the data logging program I got the computer for. Luckily, all of the drives on this unit are modular and easily replaceable. It has a 20 MB drive with 256 MG of RAM. I'm thinking doubling the numbers will do just fine, 40 MB drive and 512 MB of RAM.

    I'd make fun of you, but I do the same damned thing... with the computers, not the nuclear bombers.
