Major Explosion & Fire At Valero Refinery

A Valero Gas Refinery between Dumas & Sunray Texas has had a couple explosions. I have lots of friends & family members who work there. Their saying on the news that a major fire is in progress. Their reporting that there are burn victums and emergency crews are in route..

Please keep these folks in your Prayers & thoughts.

    I'll do that.

    But, who wants to bet that the price at the pump will go up significantly over the next week, with gas station owners claiming that this will have an impact on the supply of fuel?

    the valero chain is popping up like hotcakes on the eastern shore here in DEL-MAR-VA. they have pumps on every intersection every 5 miles. wonder if its gonna hurt them?

    Thats the least of our worries now folks.. Theres 3 casualties reported on the scanners now.. Plus 7 to 10 injured and 10 or so not accounted for.

    Scrumpy - Glad to meet ya. Where are located? I moved from Lovington back to Hfd in 2004. Grew up in Roswell a long time ago. Been in the Panhandle most of the time since 1969.

    Not in the immediate short term, no. In the next few deliveries, possibly yes.

    Gas prices have already jumped today from yesterday.
