    George Washington the greatest man of his day. Can you imagine what it would be like to have someone of his caliber to be in office today?

    Was he the greatest man of his day? I think that's debatable. Was he a great man, you bet! However, he's got some pretty incredible contenders, many of whom signed the Declaration and drafted the Constitution.

    Washington was a great leader, no doubt. However, I really admired Franklin more than anyone else of that era.

    I liked Jefferson as an intellectual. My understanding is that , as a person, he left a lot to be desired.
