Do you see 2 "bite marks", close together? In the middle of the swelling?

NO because I've got it under a bunch of zinc oxide

And did you feel any slight pain, while walking the dog, that you simply brushed off?

Look under the Zinc,.......need to see if there is one, or two entries!
You can put more back on.

Looks like just one clear area where whatever bit me bit me, not two holes.

Being as real as possible,.......how swollen is it?
Enough to make your wrist throb?
Or is it relatively minor pain?

It isn't throbbing. But the spot on my arm is about the szie of a quarter and is probably raised a half inch.

spaniel, what happens when you use your epipen? i have one but im only supposed to use it if i get stung by a bee because im allergic to them. never had to use it. Bees, to me, only serve one purpose, to kill me. anyway, its adrenaline in the pen thing right? ever had to use yours?

Are you short of breath, or having a rapid pulse?

Never had to use mine which is great since I'm needle phbic. But yes it is filled with adrenaline, and when you give yourself the inejection you are supposed to immediately go ot the hospital.

I've got pretty severe food allergies and I'm allergic to our flying and crawling friends too.

No I recognize those symptoms and it would be more along the lines of anaphalaxis that I'm worried about.

Sounds like a spider bite, of the non-venomnous type to me, and you are simply allergic to the "enzyme" that they pop into you. If it was a stinging insect, you surely would have felt it, but that does not appear to be the case.
As you know, the Benadryl will increase your pulse on its own in most people.
Watch for red streaks, going towards your heart from the site, and also the swelling should not increase after you have taken the prior.
Put ice on it, but if anything above occurs, get some help.

She will be better suited than I,........just an old EMT! I think you will live, but just trying to help.
Some folks are so allergic that it can be very serious.
Doesn't seem the case with you!
Hope you feel better real soon.

Bee stings, Spider bites, and scorpion stings, hate them all. Benadryl is always a good Idea if your not sure what it is.

The only bizarre thing is I suspect a harmless spider, but you must have been hit by one that lost a 'tooth".
    Stingers,.....one hole.
    Spiders, of all kinds,......two.
You are probably "tripping" on the Benadryl, and can't see the 2 holes.
Let us know how you are![;)]
