Bit is the same, Hates baths, but once you sit down with that towel and rub her, she goes into what we call "crazy" mode, running EVERYWHERE/

This guy does the same thing. Hates the bath but acts nuts when it's over. Likes the blow dryer though. Likes it on his rearend.

    What's a non-water dog?

Sam is a Lab, so I reckon that makes him a water dog?

Sam behaves the same way after a bath. He loves to swim, but doesn't like a bath, and he runs, sneezes, rubs and rolls after a bath.

    Maybe it's the soap?

I have a JRT (a runty one) and she hates the pool, hates the bath but is a happy, joyful dog when the bath is over and she's fresh and clean. Probably because she gets more love when the doesn't smell like anus. And the best she ever smells is right after a bath.

[8D]This old girl Lab (tina)jumped into Eagle Lake as soon as we got there and was going for the NORTH SHORE--

--Almost had to break out the canoe to go get the dumb dog--

    --But she finally came back--

Oscar, our Cocker Spaniel (and my last hunting buddy) LOVED water, to the point where he would get me and himself in trouble. He would jump into the nastiest stuff you could find. He would swim for hours in any kind of water.

Stick him in the tub and he'd start screaming like you were beating the crap out of him.

Coming out he'd do the carpet spastic thing.

Sam, our English Springer, hasn't figured out that water is a good thing. He definitely does not like baths, though. But he goes carpet spastic as well.
