I was robbed,
Happened yesterday afternoon, 2 suspects, they have not admitted to anything YET.
Heres the facts, you be the judge,
First, Yesterday morning I knew my wife had to work the evening shift & I would have to fix my own supper.
So I decided to have chili.
At about 9.30 AM I went to the frezzer and took out a 2lb pack of deer burger, I then proceeded to the kitchen where I placed the pack of burger on the counter to thaw.
I went about my daily chores after that, while my wife proceeded to get ready for work.
At about 1PM my wife left for work, & I came into the office to check out the boards on GB.
Around 3PM I thought about the chili, & realized that I needed some rotel tom's from the store.
I then left the house around 3-30PM headed to town.
I returned to the house around 5PM {got to talking to people in town}
I went straight to the fridge & took out a 1/2 onion, got a pan out and started to cut the onion up.
I then turned to the counter to get the deer burger & realized that I had been robbed, They took it all. ALL 2 Lbs. I searched the house up & down, the only thing I found was the wrapper, stuffed back under a cabinet.
I then started looking for clues as to who could have done such a thing.
And thats when I noticed that 2 of my 3 aussies were being awfull stand-offish
I questioned both, but neither would crack.
Dollar the newest addition to our family was in a pen { we crate trained him as a pup / saves on furniture that way} So I knew he was NOT guilty.
Below find pic's of the two burger snatchers, The first is thought to be the leader of this gang.
They call him Lakota, the other one they call Riggin,

Please gaurd your deer burger when these 2 are around.

A fine lookin pair of criminals ya got there. 0 -
I should add that today, Both have had the raw meat Farts,[:0]
My wife says there is not enought proof to execute.[:D]0 -
Did you make them take a breathalyzer test? A blood test for excess cholesterol probably won't work with deer burger, but a urine test for protein castoff might reveal some evidence. Good luck in your quest for the truth.
Good looking criminals though, so I bet the jury will acquit.[:)]0 -
Soon you should be able to scoop up the evidence and get a conviction.[:D] 0 -
The entire continent of Australia was a colony for murderers and thieves.
I hope you've learned to "never trust an Aussie"!0 -
...a couple of fine looking, well fed perps! I'd sentance them to life...with you and yours...[:D]

The Australian Shepherd is org. from spain, a mexican so to speak, with this in mind its just one more reason to gaurd the Boarder[:D][:D]0 -
I don't know Dan after looking at those two, how could they be guilty of anything?
How far are you outside of Amarillo, Tx? I'm just curious but I may end up living there in a year or so.0 -
NOT GUILTY....
You have NO PROOF....its your word against theirs....just cause the wrapper was on the floor doesnt mean they took it....you only THOUGHT they were acting a bit stand-offish, cause you needed a scape goat for your own absent mindness...you didnt take it out...you only thought you did...you made up the wrapper story to make them look like the guilty party....
How could you blame them for something you forgot to do?....MEANIE!!!0 -

Better not let my bassett hound talk to those two. [:D] 0 -
Innocent.
They do have the right to remain silent, after all! [:D][:D]0 -
My sister's Dacshund got up on the counter last month while we were visiting. little mutt got into a casserole dish full of bean dip. he could not even finish the whole thing. When we got back from an outing we noticed the little mutts stomach looked like had swallowed a grapefruit (small dog). When you thumped it, it sounded like a ripe mellon! When you picked him up he groaned in misery! For the next two days he to poop every two hours! 0 -
I say it was entrapment. Leave venison out around me and I assume you left it with me because you want me to have it.
I'll be there tomorrow afternoon.0 -
I wouldn't make to much noise about this caper. You could possibly be arrested for negligence and maintaining an attractive nuisance.
But in the off chance the dogs did it, I'll bet they're really sorry and contrite.[;)]0 -
I think your gang is branching out Dan. I caught this one red-footed holding the goods!!

It was Hillary Clinton0 -
A good defence lawyer might point out that you were not robbed. To be robbed it must be taken from your property and not returned.
I submit that every bit of the 2# of burger is still on your property! [:D]0 -

Like Inspector Javert, hounding (pun intended) Jean Valjean over a loaf of bread, you are hounding your friends over a piece of frozen meat.
Were these not to feed the hungry?
For shame that any should go hungry in the Republic! Viva Le Revolution!0 -

Let me set the stage for this.
My mom cooked beef spareribs - homegrown Black Angus! She toiled most of the afternoon while my step dad, half brother, & I did yard work.
She called us in for dinner. We had to dish the spare ribs from the open oven - pan was too heavy and too hot to lift, even with pot holders.
All of us dished and ate. Not a word was spoken other than some delightful lip smacking on the ribs, corn on the cob, mashed potatos, and shrimp salad.
Step dad went back for seconds first -grabbed a couple more ribs.
Half brother next, he snagged a couple ribs as well.
My turn next, yep, you guessed it, THREE ribs for me. They were awesome.
Finally, my mom got up, went to the oven, paused, and kind of harshly, put her plate in the sink. Came back to the dining room table and exclaimed that ALL of us were PIGS!!!!!
Of course, all of us denied eating THAT many ribs - there was NO way.
Well, after 20 or so minutes, it was discovered that "Boomer" (120 pound German Shepherd) had been sneaking past us and into the kitchen, snagging a rib or two every time. The bones were hidden in the shoe rack by the front door. Not ONE of us saw the LARGE black and gold 120 POUND German Shepherd with a 14" long RIB sticking out of her snout...on MULTIPLE trips.0 -
the dogs knew that you should know better than to trust a dog with meat laying in the open, so they just assumed you wanted them to take their share [:D] 0
