Josh Hancock, dead Cardinals pitcher...opinions??
As most of you probably know, St. Louis Cardinals reliever, Josh Handcock, died on impact when his SUV rear ended a tow truck on the interstate.
Have you also heard the factors in the crash?
His BAC was .157(.08 is the legal limit in MO)
They found weed in the vehicle
He was on the cell phone
and on his way to another bar
It was also a RENTAL CAR. His other car was at the shop from a previous wreck he had....while drunk.
Sorry, but I don't feel sorry for him anymore.
Sure, at first when I heard about it, especially after seeing him pitch in the game the night he died(I was at the park that day), I felt bad. I thought it was an innocent accident and he had died from just that.
The guy was living the life, the dream of many a child and adult alike. He was getting paid hundreds of thousands to play pro baseball.
And he pissed it all down the drain.
I do, however, feel terribly sorry for his family(wife and kids). Sorry your husband was an idiot.

Sad situation. Young adults thrown into a world that they think will be with no problems. Wrong. Many a piranha (not just human piranha, but also drugs/alcohol) waiting for them to surface. I only imagine that few young professional athletes are strong enough to take everything into perspective and be truly thankful for talent the Lord has bestowed upon them. Was he married? I had heard on a report that he was single, no kids. When I had heard that report, I was actually thankful he had no kids to suffer through this. 0 -

You know, if you would think before you post, you probably wouldn't have forgotten about it, given some time to think.
By the way, there was a school shooting today, the cops had the guy surrounded, and he managed to get away.
