If You Could Have A 100% Scholarship What...
classes would you take.
I have been awarded an oppourtunity to take any college classes towards a degree of my choice 100% paid.
I still havn't finished high school but I am having a hard time not taking this offer to better myself.
What is a good white collar field to enter?

I'd personally take nursing classes. This job has so many openings all across the country and you sure would be making good money. You can choose where you want to live because there are so much need for them.
When's the last time you heard of a nurse getting laid off as well?0 -

He speaks the truth about the Cher routine. I saw God. Well, DCON anyway.
However, my personal favorite is when sheepy takes the doors off of his Hummer and rides naked while beating himself with a riding crop as he lip-syncs Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road." When he he gets to the line about the "horny back toad" I always cry...0 -

Gonna be big money in battles over water.
Get yourself some kind of a degree that is relevant to water-resources management and while you're at it, do pre-law. Then get the law degree and you'll never want for work.
Or just follow your interests; you might not be rich but at least you'll feel satisfied.0 -

I just don't know if this is the right bunch to be giving advice to our younger generation.
Medical fields are good money but I wouldn't be able to do that job....law is money but I would imagine it isn't a bowl of fun....helping people is something that would be nice to do (on a large scale)...maybe an agriculture type degree where in the end you are able to start growth and self reliance in places in need?
That is IF it were 20 years ago and I had been given any type of guidance toward what I wanted to BE when I grow up...I think that would be nice and rewarding.0 -
If I had it to do over, I would learn how to block hats. I would specialize in fedoras, maybe bowlers---it doesn't matter, as long as there is plenty of steam and wool felt around. Blocking hats is truly a lost art, one which I predict will see a dramatic rise in demand in the next year or two. All it takes is for somebody like Brad Pitt or Nunn to start wearing hats at movie openings or when mowing the grass. Just wait. 0 -
Personally I have an Associates in Computers and Electronics Engineering Technology and until recently was going for a Bacholor in Communications and Electronics Engineering Technology. I'd be continuing on with that if my "dream company" hadn't offered me my "dream job". Back to your question however....If given a 100% scholorship I would go to Hillsdale College in Michigan and get a Bacholors or Masters in History. I would have gone that route originaly but couldn't think of any jobs that a history degree would be good for. Since then I've found lots and all of them would be considered white collar.
I would agree with the others that the medical industry is good and growing but right now it's preety hard to get into. Anything technical whether it be electronics like me, computers, networking, robotics...they will all be growing industries in the future with lots of new stuff and lots of people who don't know what they're doing trying to use it. You get a degree that says you know what you're doing and you can find a good job

Think about what you love to do and what you have a passion for, then go into that field. Do not get into a feild just because there is good money to be made, you'll wake up hating life if you do. Trust me on this, I just folded up my buisness as a Independant Sales Consultant so I could go back to school to become a teacher, it just took me 35 years to find out what I wanted to do. 0
