That looks like it will make a good jump plane when you get done hammering out the props[:p] 0 -

Looks kinda like a plane my cousin James practices in.
He uses it, or a Cessna.0 -
A&P mechanics have to eat too.
What happened?0 -
First off...I didnt do it! [:)]
The guy was landing on RWY 24 at Oceanside Ca, wed night. His left main gear broke off and he left the runway and took out about 80ft of 4' high chain link fence.
You can see a piece of fence pipe sticking out the left side behind the prop. Another piece of piping went thru the windshield and nearly skewered his head.
Two people on board, no injuries.0 -
I have some pics around someplace of what happens when you forget to lower the landing gear and land anyway. Can't find them right now. 0 -
Nunn....... Yeh, its amazing how many people do that. Even small planes sound a warning when your airspeed goes down below a certain point.
The plane thinks your preparing to land so it reminds you to lower the gear, but some folks just dont pay attention.0 -
I hate to see a 421 in that condition, but my brother loves it. He is a A&P at bracket and might just get the job to fix this one. I would be pissed at the last guy to do the annuel inspection, looks like he missed something. 0 -
Ouch! That HAD to $urt! 0 -
Money, money, money! 0 -
though there's one motor gone, we can still carry on,
coming in on a wing and a prayer [;)]0
