Cherctoff "We cant enforce Illegals laws"
Homeland Security chief Michael Chertoff is blasting the U.S. Senate for failing to pass an immigration bill, and claims the federal government doesn't have the ability to enforce laws when it comes to illegals working in America.". Hell no. We spend much too much time on enforcement of seat belt laws, tracing 50 ,000,000 cattle through and back from Canada , checking up on the 90,000,000+ guns in the country that are legally owned, stupid environment laws, planning the Trans Tex. Corridor (which we dont need or want), making a complete mess of making Mexico, Canada and the U.S. into one big joint mess for us. Of course the Govt has no time or manpower to worry about a Invasion of our owncountry or attempt to stop it. Chertoff, of all people should quit after the way he "oversaw" the New Orleans debacle by throwing money into it in the way he did with really near zero results. IF WE CANT ENFORCE THE IMMIGRATION LAWS WHY BOTHER ENFORCING ANY LAWS. ENFORCING ONLY SELECTIVE LAWS IS NOT THE WAY TO GO.

What ever happened to the speech that his and Bush's happy butts made a couple of years ago, when they were feeling the pressure of not securing the borders?
That is where the "so-called" fence idea came from, and the supposed end of "catch and release".
They spend more time fighting localities that are sick of their garbage, and are doing something about it without the Feds.
Obviously, they don't like that,.......plus Georgie Boy, is not a happy little kid right now, because we didn't listen to his "wisdom".
I don't recall the above mentioned fence, and enforcment, being hinged upon a bill that only came recently.

I'm sure that the second quote, if true, is being taken out of context.
It is fact that the US Army could not stand up to the Wehrmacht circa 1940-1941. They were already mobilized for major land campaigns while we were still practicing isolationism. While our Navy could mop the floor with the Kriegsmarine from Norfolk to Koenigsberg the Army was lacking, especially in armored formations.0 -
How do he know we haven't fined and jailed anyone yet, it would take care of its self no jobs. More states need to pass laws like Oklahoma and local police forces need to ask when stopping illegals. The answers are simple.
#1. Don't allow any illegal a job in the US. Fine the employers $10K per violation, and if they ignore the law -- put the employer in jail.
#2. No child born in the US is a citizen unless the parents are US citizens. Birth certificate should read "child of an illegal alien".
#3. No free medical care, welfare or any kind of assistance for illegals.
#4. All illegals caught will go to prison for at least a year.
With no jobs and the benefits gone, they'll try to get back to Mexico ASAP.0 -

Securing our borders against invaders is NOT, in any way, shape , or form, akin to Nazism. All illegals should be deported, as they are criminals. Our borders should be absolutely secure, if that takes shooting a few illegals, so be it. If we can't/won't enforce laws, then why make them! They have turned a blind eye to enforcing immigration laws for so long I'm sure it would be a difficult task now. What a copout and sad statement about the condition of our government.[:(] 0 -
