Ted Nugent
Saw on the news where he's had four(or so)concerts cancelled here in the northwest, and at least one in Texas. These are all at indian owned casinos. According to the news, he's been running around dissin' the red man. Anybody else heard that?

I sent an e-mail to Uncle Ted through his web site asking if he could explain his skipping out on the draft and the Vietnam War. Here is the response I got....
We hope to have a statement from Ted soon. He is currently on concert tour & media blitz. Next week filming hunt for his tv show.

Wow! What's going on with old Ted? Saw him yesterday on the Outdoor Channel. He was being his usual "mystical Ted", but seems like he is becoming even more "off the wall' than he was before. Hasn't he been made spokesman for some company or something? Ted, get a grip! Sheesh!

I disagree, I think his comments are spot-on. Ted is fanatical, that won't lure fence sitters into the fold. Remember you need to draw people to it, one person at a time and it will hopefully multiply. Each person counts and they can sway countless others.
I hadn't seen Ted much and thought the guy was a freaking head case the first couple times, AND I LOVE GUNS. Ted is best saved for the hardcore gun lovers.0 -

Most progun folks are gentlemen, keep to themselves and don't participate in bazar behavior. Many, many antigun nutcases are the opposite. They yell and scream and twist the truth and get their way just because nobody wants to stand up to them.
Its time that a few of us took the same path and attacked them back. The antis are cowards for the most part and if attacked head on will run and hide under a rock. Ted fills that role and is about the only one that I can think of out there that has the courage in this PC society to call a spade a spade without concern about his career being distroyed.
I agree his is a bit over the top, sometimes, and I don't care for his music but I do think he is good for our cause and support him 100%.[:0][:0]
When have you ever seen on national TV someone get into a yelling match with Rosie and tell her, "you are trying to take away my personal freedom to defend myself." "You only want criminals to own guns, you are nuts and should shut your mouth!"0
