Is anyone else having problems with FTF Industries?

I placed an order with them and they hit the credit card for the charge quickly. But, I couldn't contact anyone at FTF with repeated e-mails and voicemeils. No one is minding the store. I am currently going through my credit card company with a dispute of the charge.

    Keep clear of FTF Industries.

    UPDATE:
I have called and e-mailed everyday for a week to cancel the order with no reply. Today I got notification that a package was shipped from FTF.

Great! That's just what I want to put on my AR, a barrel from a guy who is probably pissed at me.

They did the same thing to me. I placed the order, they charged my card immediately, then I did not hear from them or get the order for weeks. And they will never respond. Then one day about 5 weeks later the order just showed up. That was the first and last time I ordered from them.

Seems they're one of the big guys at GunBroker. Bought a Bushy complete bolt assy over 2 weeks ago, credit card was charged instantly, and no bolt assy so far. Lady that took the card info on the phone said the item would ship the following day...since then I've sent 4 emails asking for order status & have yet to get a reply. I went back as far as Nov 6th for their bolt auction & the item as relisted over 50 times. Mostly, people opted with the buy it now price and another 24 hour auction would start. I'd guess they are running and relisting auctions without on hand inventory to support them,.GunBroker really needs to keep an eye on them. I'd be willing to bet there are ALOT of consumers like myself that will REALLY hesitate to come here & look into other buying options..anyway..was wondering if anybody was in the same boat. Hard to teach an old dog new tricks I guess,..

In defense of not just FTF, but many dealers now are expierencing a rush of business that none of them have ever seen before. They are not equipped nor staffed for the volume they are receiving. I have done business with FTF and expierenced the same situation you have described. I would suggest that if you can find a distributor that is offering the parts you are in need of show some patience till this madness subsides.

Crazy times are definately understood....I have no problem with that,..or the wait. It's the lack of communication, and the verbal promise it should have shipped that bugs me. If ya keep an eye of their feedback,.they're getting jabbed at at least once day for the same things & they're VERY quick to reply to the negative feedback,..so it would be safe to say someone is checking the account & emails at least daily...would it be that hard to answer the delay requests I'm sure they're getting? In a little over one week,..the bolt auction was renewed and over 50 bolts where sold with the buy it now option,.if you look at their feedback,..lots of other items where bought and shipped to meet the buyers expectations..so man power & shipping doesn't seem to be a major issue. Is it safe to think they where and are auctioning certain stuff without inventory to support it? Big no/no in my books.

Stay far far away from FTF.

Did business with him a couple of years ago.

He lists stuff he does not have in stock.

IS THREE MONTHS TOO LONG TO WAIT WITH no COMMUNICATION?

The guy is a total azz!

Won't answer phone calls or emails. Claims he replies to all emails and that you don't get them because your spam settings are not right.

    Just read his feedback.

AR stuff is in very short supply right now with almost every dealer, distributor, and manufacturer. Be patient. If you only order stuff from dealers who have the item in stock you are going to have a very long wait.

I don't seem to find it. Is the user FTF? or something different?

    Just curious.

I don't care to deal with folks that can't take of their business any better than that. No deal is worth that in my opinion.

I'll give it a few more days & see what happens,...could have easily placed one on back-order at Brownells or Midway & if nothing else have faith it would be shipped as soon as possible,..AND paid a little less,..the folks at FTF even took the liberty to raise their Buy It Now option another 15.00 during the run. I was one of the lucky ones that paid the extra 15.00 as well. I went as far back as I care to on the auctions they ran for the bolt assy's & have the user names & item numbers written down for 50 fellow consumers that went with the buy it now option & I'd be willing to bet they are in the same boat I am,..if I don't get at least an update I can believe or a full refund, maybe gunbroker will take some time to look into it.

I had this issue a few years ago with a company that was selling underwater pingers. They wanted to charge my CC immediately, and it would take 3 months to ship.

I cited some obscure government code that made it a crime to charge a credit card and not ship immediately. So three months later I see the charge on the CC and received the pingers a couple of days later.

I have since forgot the code section.

I ordered from them once, did not get the item for over 2 months. They never answered any emails, I will never use them again.

Don't think I've bought from them before, but I know the name. At this point in time I don't plan on getting anything I order quickly, as everyone is backordered and out of stock. But I know I'll get things eventually, and it's all slowly coming in. Normally places do send tracking emails though. I'd call them and see what's happening, and just wait a little longer.
