And they're also reporting that since the police have "surrounded" the suspect, he's managed to elude them.

If this isn't Reason #276385 to Keep and Bear Arms, I don't know what is going to convince the retards.

I heard on tv that the Fresno shooting was over a video game. Please for the love of God tell me thats not true. The next thing you know the government will want to ban the PS3.

Why do crazy maniac psychos have to use guns when they want to kill people? Leave the guns out of it and use a chainsaw or a butcher knife instead![:(!]

Yes, its the law of copycat crime. Everyone sees it in the Media and I guess they think that a great way to get some negiative attention since no one will give them positive attention.

All these shooting are playing into the hands of the recently seated Queen of the House. Congress is getting all the ammo it needs to push a lot of nasty gun laws down the pipe.

This could be a tough year for gun owners. But then that will get us in the right frame of mind for what will happen after 2008 if the Dems win the big house.

Here's what I have heard since my original post.

A CFSUF student was confronted by 3 people in his home over a video game. Don't know what happened but the 3 visitors were shot. He should have stayed put and called the cops to tell them he was attacked in his home and feared for his life. Now he's on the run and looking real guilty.

Yes, he eluded the cops. I recall that people running from the Fresno PD had a real good chance of getting away. Seems like half the time the Fresno cops let the guy escape. No idea why they have a hard time catching crooks on the run but it's always been that way it seems to me.

This about the 4th time I have heard of someone being killed or seriously injured in a dispute over a damn vbideo game. I guess as long as they have their priorities straight...

Sounds to me like the right call to action is to ban video games. They have no sporting purpose and lead to obesity, which is a horrible plague to place upon innocent children.

So, if it saves the life of just one innocent child, isn't it all worth it?

Really, this is nothing more than common sense legislation.
