China-made Chryslers by 2010

I've owned two Dodges. That was two too many, so I don't care where they are made. 0 -
I don't drive Dodge anyway.
But I can tell you where you can stick TOYota,
their flat seats alone are enough to make me refuse to buy them. The sports-car inspired seats of my Pontiac are still comfortable after an 8 hour marathon drive [:D]
Rode in a buddy's TOYota, could not stand it after a short city trip [xx(]0 -
Ford is having dies built in China now. Many auto makers are looking to China for the market potential of a BILLION plus humans.
My Dodge has 200,000 miles on it now. It has been the least costly most reliable truck I have ever had.0 -
I rented a Toyota Corolla to drive from Atlanta to Columbus and back. By the time I turned it in, I was wishing I had been willing to spend the extra bucks for a bigger car, perhaps a Ford Taurus. 0 -
Well, they're owned by the same holding company tht just bought Remington. So we're gonna see Chinese-made 870's too, I'd imagine. 0 -

you mean Norinco hasn't ripped those off YET???
They've ripped off the Garand and M1A already0 -
Not too crazy about the China thing, but as to Dodges..Here's the other side: I've owned three, two Rams and a Chrysler 300, still own two of them. They have given me NO trouble, not in the last twenty years, except for an AC leak that didn't amount to anything.
They look good, they run good, they are comfortable, and my family members are constantly wanting to borrow one or the other when the Fords and Chevvies they own are in the shop or up on blocks.
I guess experiences are varied, depending on the owner.
This does bring up a human relations question..Tell the truth on this one now..
When you buy a vehicle, what do you go by to make a decision? Performance, reliability, or looks?
Guess what most of us choose..0 -
that's funny, the Chrysler plant in fenton mo will not let you on the lot with a foreign car{lol} 0 -
It's interesting how many people give a rats azz about "american made' when ti comes to automobiles but go ahead and start a thread on generators and see how many of those patriots start recommending Honda over Winco (made in America). 0 -

I just don't like Japanese cars, they don't appeal to me.
The only ones I refuse to buy for patriotic reasons are Mitsubishi (because they made the Zero)
I don't have anything against Nissan, they make some nice cars, perhaps I will own one in the future. I just think that GM vehicles fit my criteria for a good car better than Honda or Toyota do.0
