Anti-Depressant drug commercial
I just saw a commercial on TV for an anti-depression drug... The main side effect was an increase in suicidal thoughts in teens and children. [:0] It was not curing these thoughts, but creating them! Along with diarrhea and/or constipation, fatigue, dry mouth, decreased appetite and increased sweating. No wonder kids are killing themselves lately. Doctors have them all doped up on drugs. [:0]

Yep, that's a fact. Anti-depressants can have side effects of suicidal thoughts.
If you think about it, that's not impossible. It is a mood-altering drug. It will work in most people just fine, but because we're all not wired the same, in some people it makes the depressing mood stronger.
Ritalin is long-known to have side-effects of depression and suicidal thoughts. Yet, doctors hand it out like candy because every misbehaving kid must have ADD/ADHD.

Its a problem. Every kid that has ADD or ADHD is a candidate for drugs and in most cases they will simply grow out of the condition. I am sure is helps some kids but I wonder what percentage. 0 -
