mag problems
i was at the range yesterday and a guy came in with his pistol. he was saying something about his magazines as i was going onto the range so i didn't hear what was wrong. then he came out and knocked out half a clip when i hear " so of a biscuiteater". i looked over and the bottom of his clip burst off and dropped al his ammo and the spring to the floor. he said the manufaturer had reported getting a "batch of bad plastic" and this was supposted to be a rare occurance. but it was his 5th clip to blow out.
you guys ever hear of this? if so, what gun?

Yes, with Pro-Mags in my Glock 17.
I was on the line shooting and all of a sudden my ammo is on the ground. [:0] [:(!] My buddies found this very amusing. Also, I've had then let a round or two pop out when laying on the bench in the sun. They don't like the heat of summer. [V] [:(] [:0]
This is why I'll only use Glock factory mags now.0 -
only on aftermarket magazines 0 -
