Shipping price increases with New Year?
I sell a lot on here, and I have noticed a large price increase for shipping this year, even the last couple of months. I use UPS because of the ammo, and I used to charge set amounts for shipping, which was based on item prices, but after paying an additional $5-10 per box myself for a while, I decided to use actual shipping. Now I am concerned that I might be losing some buyers because shipping is sometimes costing more than the item the person is buying. Most boxes I am sending cost between $15 and $20 to ship, and they are all about 5 to 10 pounds in weight. Maybe I am just getting buyers in rough locations, but the amounts are annoying me, and I am not the one paying them anymore. What's the deal?

How are you shipping it UPS? Going to a store? through their online sight? how?
UPS pricing is screwy, and then they always charge you for crap at the end of the month.0 -

Well I have to have the boxes that have ammo in them picked up from here, because I am selling things from home. I have tried many times to drop them off at a UPS store or somewhere else that ships UPS but they refuse to take anything with ammo in them, so I am stuck paying $2-4 more to have them come pick it up from here. The site says I can hand the boxes to a UPS driver, but I do not have time to drive around looking for one. Also, I find that when you put in the info to check for a shipping price sometimes when I go to send that same box later the price is more than the first time I checked it. Can't use USPS because they will not take boxes of ammo, and neither will FedEx unless they come pick it up too. And even before the additional amount to pick it up, the prices are still high.0 -
if you have the tags you can drop them off in a drop box and a driver will pick it up 0 -

Yeah I do that if the box is small enough to fit but you have to have some small boxes to fit in there. Just remember last year shipping would usually be between $8-12 a box, with the pickup charge included.0
