Good Post!
In the US the Bill of Rights and the Second Amendment is giving the anti-gun crowd fits! Clintons crew was sucessful in demonizing guns and the NRA and was using the various government agencies to declare guns as evil. HUD and CDC come to mind plus the Attorney General.
The liberals must distroy the second amendment to eliminate guns but they have been very successful in adding guns to lists of prohibited guns and by outlawing guns in cities and making registration legal in certain states.
This trend is pretty close to the Australia's situation if they are able to blanket the whole country with a NYC, DC, Chicago, NJ type of law.
This is why I rant to the extent that I do about the need for all 70+ million gun owners to join the NRA. They will then have the power and authority to put a quick stop to this slow creeping elimination of our rights.
Its our last hope! In my opinion. Otherwise a few of us will be in the streets protesting the loss of our guns after a quick move by a liberal congress and President to make gun ownership illegial. The media will not cover our protest because they are mostly liberal and are pushing hard for the elimination of guns in our society.
We are living in a era of the "Blame Game," nobody is responsible for their personal actions, it is always someone or something else's fault. They gun is at fault in the mind of liberals and they will sway the swing vote to make it happen during emotional times such as these.
I hate to rant the gloom and doom scenario but I think we are close to losing our semi-auto rights, possibly within the next ten years. They will start there and register the rest and then work to cut that down to a min.
The only way to stop this is a massive shift to the NRA, GOA or other large pro-gun Union organization, and this needs to happen quickly.0 -
Good post.
Why do you suppose the liberals want to disarm us ??

I think the big difference between here and the other countries that have banned guns is the fact so many of us will just refuse to give them up,,I will not surrender my guns no matter what law is passed,my wife and myself have had this disscussion many times, she knows how i feel about it and she understands if and when the time comes she is to go to her mothers and out of harms way,,, 0 -

I believe that gun owners are a big threat to their perception of the control of the power of government.
It is rarely a conservative government that removes the ability to defend themselves from a population.0
