    Boy, you're truely a dedicated gun "NUT".[:0]

Isn't that ACOG great? My son has one on his M-4 and I was impressed. However, it don't take much to impress some old doddering
    red necks.[:I]

Those holes out in the white, do you call them fliers...or shivers?

I just can't imagine what they would have to hide out there today to get me out there.

    Hi Scotty!
I'm going to go with shivers ... at least until the weather warms up [;)]

    When's the next show?
Ya think maybe we can get another prayer meeting at Golden Corral?

70 and sunny here in Alabama today...put 20 through the AR for the heck of it...

This may be a stupid question (mine usually are) but isnt it bad on the gun to shoot when its that cold? I'm just thinking of the barrel getting really hot, really quick, then really cold, really fast.

I don't think it's bad for it, barrel was never even too hot to touch ... its not like I was getting it red hot then cooling it off in the creek like I've heard of people doing with SKS's ...

... 70 and sunny, I'd have been out all day long!

I was only out about an hour ... even if it had been -14 I still would have gone out! I was tired of waiting, add-in that I was pert near dying of cabin fever and tired of kicking myself because ... well heck, two days before yesterday (Thursday) it was like 68 degrees, but I couldn't get out then!

Hope you had as much fun as I did!

You are either more dedicated a shooter or dumber than hell to get out in that weather. No longer for me in those temps.
    Good shooting however.

I have to admit, I was going to go out today, but wussed out when I saw all the ice on my house windows, trees, the car, the truck.......

Looks like some pretty fair shooting.
