You need to get her on her way to a CCW.

The fools who call her a snitch are the same ones who would severely criticize her if the gun had been real and later in the day they had gotten shot (accidently or on purpose) and then learned your daughter could have warned the teacher and chose not too.

She showed good judgement. it time she will care less what morons think[:D]

The more I think about it, the better I think she did.
It is so rare for a young kid (even a young adult)
    to:
    1:have a moral compass
2: have good enough judgement and controll to come up with an apporiate action.
3:have the guts to follow thru!
Good job to both of you!

Smart kid going to the teacher with a letter. Thinking on her feet, thats a positive sign. You should be proud! [:)]

    Wolf,

You tell her we all say she did the right thing, and give her a big old bear hug from all of us here at GB. [8D]

Who cares if they call her a snitch? If they were low enough to say that to her, when it could have been real and he might have shot someone, she needed to tell someone. She did the right thing. Its not worth waiting to see if he shoots anyone. Then its too late

She is a HERO. Thanks to people like her that stand up for what is right no matter what peer pressure exemplifies. I would only hope my girl would do the same and I think she would. I will share this with my 13 year old daughter as a good example. I would love for the two to converse.
